Simon Stanley Ward is a 28 year old country singer and songwriter. He has been performing his music ruthlessly for the last 12 years. Stanley Ward's performance combines self deprecation, sincerity and above all fun to give an emotive, energetic performance which can pull at your heart strings yet leave you upbeat and tapping your foot all the way home! Simon moved to London in 2010 bringing his own personal unique blend of Country, Americana and Rock n Roll songs to the capital. Stanley Ward quickly released his first solo E.P titled 'Myself to Blame' and has been a prominent fixture on London's growing Americana scene. In the summer of 2012 Simon took his solo show over to the US where he played gigs in Nashville and the surrounding area of Tennessee. In 2013 Simon toured in Northern Spain with his final show being held at the prestigious Teatro Zorilla in Valladolid. Simon has performed at festivals including Bestival, The Camden Crawl, Larmer Tree Festival, Wickham Folk Festival, Rhythm Festival, The London Singer Songwriter Festival in Spitalfields Market and venues such as The Borderline, Conway Hall, 12 Bar Club and The Green Note. Simon also hosted London's Lantern Society at the Betsey Trotwood for nearly 2 years as well as collaborating with comedians such as John Hegley, Kevin Eldon and Richard Herring for one off events of music, poetry and comedy. His debut self-titled album features Paul Lush (Danny And The Champions Of The World) and David Rothon (Redlands Palomino Company). Review Hefty praise is fully warranted on Simon Stanley Ward for channelling his style, acumen and heart into a record which resonates with acres of impressive effect. The challenge is now to raise the profile and show a wider market that a sincere brand of high quality and intelligent country music is bubbling under within the UK s vibrant indie scene. --Three Chords And The Truth UK, May 28th 2015Over a set of original, often self-deprecating honky-tonk tunes...Ward politely doffs his big hat to his would-be detractors and gets on with the job in hand. And that's making honest British country music. --Gerry Ransom, R2, July/August 2015

I've made a journey back to the vinyl records by buying a turntable and amplifier and decided to purchase the division bell on vinyl by pink Floyd as it's one of the best albums I've ever heard..
