Een verzameling spirituele klassiekers, One Voice: Believe ziet Aled duet met zijn jongere zelf - man en jongen - en bevat een paar speciale verrassingen. Hoogtepunten zijn onder meer verbluffende vertolkingen van Pie Jesu (Lloyd Webber), Ave Maria (Schubert), Did You Not Hear My Lady (Händel) en Morning Has Broken (traditioneel). Het album bevat ook het levensbevestigende Believe, een compositie geschreven door Aled zelf.
Je hoort ook een heel bijzonder gastoptreden van iemand die Aled heel dicht en dierbaar is: zijn 12-jarige zoon Lucas speelt samen met zijn vader op één track. Deze unieke vader-zoon samenwerking zal zeker harten verwarmen.
Verder staan er drie nooit eerder gehoorde bonustracks op het album. Deze tracks onthullen de allereerste opnames van Aleds stem als 10-jarige – lang voor zijn eerste professionele platencontract. Een oude vriend van de kathedraal van Bangor, Brian Saunderson, nam Aled op tijdens zijn schooltijd, maar de originele band lag meer dan 30 jaar op Brians boekenplank.
Een paar maanden geleden werden deze opnames aan Aled gepresenteerd, en nu deelt hij deze onschuldige maar rauwe zang met de wereld. Deze nummers - How Beautiful Are the Feet, Pie Jesu (Faure) en Y Lili Ddwr (de Welshe versie van The Lotus Flower van Schumann) - zijn nu voor het eerst te horen en zullen je de adem benemen.
