DJ Quicksilver is best known for his big track "Bellissima". In fact the work of two backroom pop boffins from Germany, "Bellissima" is pure and simple, electronic pop(corn) dance-trance fluff, sporting a tune that's simpler than the opening notes of "My First Recorder Lesson" and catchier than a ball flying off an English cricketer's bat. When originally released, it rampaged through Ibiza, clubland and the nation's consciousness: everybody who has ever walked down any Miss Top-Selfridge-Shop strewn high street will already be acquainted with its most intimate pulsing bleeps. Quite a tune, then. As far as the rest of the album is concerned, it's a case of keeping up the successful formula. "I Have A Dream" raises spirits with a quote from Martin Luther King, while "Free" bounds along with easy, bouncy dancefloor energy. Nothing quite matches "Bellissima", but there is more than enough here to keep the nation dancing and prancing and jumping around their bedrooms with glee. --Robert Heller Product description DJ QUICKSILVER
