Louisiana Red wurde im ländlichen Alabama geboren und war ein großer Mann mit einem langsamen, bedächtigen Auftreten. Er war ein brillanter Songwriter, der die Tragödien seiner eigenen Lebenserfahrungen nutzte, um einen lebendigen, gefühlvollen Bluesstil zu schaffen. Seine Technik auf der Slide-Gitarre erinnerte an die Delta-Gitarre, aber er spielte auch Mundharmonika und Finger-E-Gitarre und rührte sich mit seinem leidenschaftlichen Gesang oft zu Tränen. Es ist überraschend, dass er nicht bekannter war, da er mehr als fünfzig Jahre lang fast ununterbrochen auftrat und mit einer Vielzahl legendärer Persönlichkeiten spielte. „The Lowdown Back Porch Blues“ war Reds Debütalbum aus dem Jahr 1962. Diese spezielle remasterte Sammleredition wird von vielen als sein Bestes aus einer beeindruckenden Diskographie von rund 50 Alben angesehen und erscheint nach langer Abwesenheit im Katalog. Als Bonus enthält es 10 zusätzliche Titel, darunter alternative Takes und schwer zu findende Seiten aus dieser Zeit.

PS: achetez cette figurine uniquement ici, je l’avais commandé sur Amaz*n pour un peu moins cher pour au final recevoir autre chose et donc me faire arnaquer.
