Aufgenommen in den Dunham Studios in Brooklyn und mit Vintage-Keyboards, verbindet das Album Indie-Beats der 80er-Jahre mit Hip-Hop-Beats der 90er-Jahre und sieht auch, dass jemand ganz Besonderes das Mikrofon übernimmt ... „Lose It (In The End)“ wurde von Jonathan mitgeschrieben Pierce von The Drums und enthält Reime von Ghostface Killah und Gesang von Mark Ronson selbst. Der Old-School-Einschlag des Albums macht einen großen Teil seines Charmes aus. „The Bike Song“ – mitgeschrieben von Dave McCabe von den Zutons und mit entspanntem, aber nie trägem Gesang von Kyle Falconer von The View – versprüht eine fast psychedelische 60er-Jahre-Atmosphäre, während der warme Doo-Wop von „The Night Last Night“ wird von der ehemaligen Pipette Rose Elinor Dougall zu herrlichem Leben erweckt.
„Somebody To Love Me“ ist ein weiteres Highlight. Jake Shears von den Scissors Sisters, Cathy Dennis, der ehemalige Dirty Pretty Thing Anthony Rossomando und Andrew Wyatt waren alle daran beteiligt, das zu schreiben, was Ronson als „bionischen“ Song bezeichnet. Dann überredete er Boy George, dieses Lied von „Earnest Blue-Eyed Soul“ und einem verlorenen Clubklassiker mit einem modernen Touch zu singen.
