Nachdem das Duo ein Jahrzehnt lang als Solokünstler gearbeitet hatte (beide wagten sich in die Fotografie und andere kreative Genres), trat es nur zum Spaß auf der Party eines Freundes auf, gefolgt von einer Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung im Mai 1998 und einem Auftritt bei den Brit Awards Anfang 1999. „Wir fingen an, ein paar Songs zu schreiben und aufzunehmen, und Annie fragte: „Machen wir tatsächlich eine Platte?“ Ich schätze, das waren wir!“ „Die Songs klangen gut, also machten wir weiter und zogen zurück in die Church Studios, wo alles begann! Wir beendeten das Album und als wir darüber sprachen, eine Tour zu machen, wurde beschlossen, dass der gesamte Erlös der Tour an Greenpeace und Amnesty International gehen würde.“ Dave und Annie arbeiteten als Eurythmics eng für diese Anliegen zusammen und tun dies auch weiterhin getrennt. Das Album verschmähte das schöne und melancholische Lied „I Saved the World Today“ und das etwas autobiografische „17 Again“.

Amazing customer service!

I bought two Star Wars X-Wing expansions from Yachew. One expansion arrived damaged, but Paul from Customer Services was fantastic, quickly refunding me. I've got to say that Yachew's customer service is amongst the best I've encountered and I can't wait to shop with them again!
