Die Tasse ist mit komplizierten Barockmustern bedeckt, die sich in abwechselnde Richtungen drehen und ein Quartett aus fleischlosen Rabenschädeln umrahmen. Jeder Schädel krümmt sich um die Kelchschale und sitzt auf einem königsvioletten Sockel. Auf jedem sind die Worte „Quoth the Raven Nevermore“ eingraviert, die sich auf die Werke des gotischen Genies Edgar Allen Poe beziehen. Der lange Stiel besteht aus einem großen verzierten Silberschlüssel, der mit einem kleinen Totenkopf akzentuiert ist. Der Schädel spiegelt sich auf der Basis wider, auf der eine Totenkopfmotte abgebildet ist, die aus ähnlichen barocken Motiven besteht, die auch auf der Tasse zu sehen sind. Dieser gotische Kelch wird aus feinstem Harz gegossen und dann fachmännisch von Hand bemalt. Er verfügt über einen herausnehmbaren Edelstahleinsatz, der die Reinigung erleichtert.
