Das 2003 gegründete und anschließend beim Tyrant Syndicate Productions-Label von Darkthrone unter Vertrag stehende Debütalbum von OLD, „Down with the Nails“, erschien 2006 mit neun teuflhörnigen Hymnen in der Old-School-Tradition von Bands wie Venom, Possessed, Slaughter, Sodom, Celtic Frost und Darkthrone. Die aus Nordhessen in Deutschland stammende Band erlangte kurz nach ihrer Gründung schnell Kultstatus, nachdem ihr Probeband „Blood Skull“ aus dem Jahr 2004, das in die Fänge von Fenriz und Nocturno Culto geriet, hervorragende Rückmeldungen erhielt. Kurz darauf folgte die EP „Nocturnal Ritual“, die 2005 von Undercover Records veröffentlicht wurde, bevor sie bei TSP, dem Imprint-Label von Peaceville, unter Vertrag genommen wurde. „Down with the Nails“ wurde in drei Tagen in den Toxomusic Studios in Deutschland aufgenommen und von der Band gemischt und ist eine perfekte Übung in traditioneller Black-Metal-Ausführung. Keine wirbelnden majestätischen Tastaturen und keine überpolierte Produktion hier, garantiert! Für Fans von Darkthrone und Celtic Frost. Diese Ausgabe von „Down With the Nails“ feiert ihr Vinyl-Debüt und wird auf 180 g schwerem Vinyl präsentiert.

Amazing customer service!
