Captain Sonar ist ein innovatives Echtzeitspiel, das zwei Teams dazu herausfordert, ihre U-Boote in einem spannenden Kampf gegeneinander anzutreten. Ihr ultimatives Ziel ist es, das U-Boot Ihres Gegners zu finden und zu zerstören, aber diese Aufgabe ist weitaus schwieriger, als es zunächst erscheinen mag. Ihre gesamte Besatzung muss zusammenarbeiten, um einen Kurs festzulegen, Systeme aufzuladen, den Feind zu lokalisieren und Ihr eigenes U-Boot voll einsatzbereit zu halten.
