Seit dieser Platte sind mir Dinge passiert, die mich stärker geprägt haben als dieses Album … alles, was ich aufnehme wird freigelassen, und das ist schon seit meiner Jugend so; ich habe natürlich Glück, aber es versklavt einen auch.“ Der unmittelbare Eindruck auf den Hörer von Hiperasia ist sein abrupter, fast gewalttätiger, verstärkter, futuristischer Klang. „Ich habe darüber nachgedacht, Musik zu machen, die sich selbst vorantreibt. Ich mag Musik, die sich nach innen zu bewegen scheint, von ihren Seiten zu ihrer eigenen Mitte. Als würde sie aktiv versuchen, Mono zu werden, aber eine Kraft, die normalerweise etwas Herausragendes wie eine 808 oder eine ist.“ Stimme dehnt sich aus, um diese Geräusche zur Seite zu schieben.
