Die Vorfreude auf das Album wurde mit der Lead-Single „Everything's Electric“ geweckt, die als Liams bisher größter Solo-Hit in die Top 20 Großbritanniens einstieg. Jetzt veröffentlicht Liam den Titelsong des Albums, „C’mon You Know“ – mit Ezra Koenig von Vampire Weekend am Saxophon. Während „C'mon You Know“ mit den Eigenschaften pulsiert, die Liam zu einer so ikonischen Figur gemacht haben – eine rauhe Rock’n’Roll-Hymne, gekrönt von seinem charakteristischen Knurren –, ist es auch ein großer Schritt nach vorne, sowohl in Bezug auf die Einstellung als auch auf den Klang. Musikalisch ist es mit unerwarteten Klangakzenten überlagert: wogender Gospel-Hintergrundgesang mit Motown-Einschlag, kreischendes Saxophon von Ezra Koenig und Vintage-Synthesizer von Moog, die den Klangstrudel verstärken. Auch Liams Texte stammen aus einer frischen Perspektive: Seine Worte sind nicht kämpferisch, sondern voller Positivität und der Freude, mit Freunden, Familie und Fans wieder vereint zu sein. Wie er offen zugibt: „Ich habe es satt, hart zu sein.“ Das Lied wurde ausschließlich von Liam geschrieben und von seinem regelmäßigen kreativen Mitarbeiter, dem Grammy-Gewinner Andrew Wyatt, produziert. Wie der Titeltrack und „Everything's Electric“ andeuten, verleiht das C'mon You Know-Album Liams klassischen Hands-in-the-Air-Hymnen frische experimentelle Akzente. Andrew Wyatt ist durchgehend der Hauptproduzent, während Ezra Koenig zu einer Auswahl von Tracks beiträgt.
