Das Ergebnis ist ein heller, ironischer, melodisch beschwingter und süß melancholischer Tonic der nordwalesischen Sängerin (geboren in Trefriw, in der Nähe von Snowdonia; heute ansässig in Cardiff): eine Hommage an die Freuden des Reisens und die wärmende Rückkehr nach Hause gleichermaßen. Zu Blacks mitreisenden Mitarbeitern gehörte zuvor auch Cate Le Bon aus Carmarthenshire. Aber seine süßen Gefühle und gewinnenden Melodien sind seit 2003 ständige Begleiter aller aufgeschlossenen Zuhörer. Und das beweisen sie einmal mehr auf Wild Imagination, mit tadellosem Timing.
