Gold entstand aus der Idee, dass etwas Schöneres zerbrochen wurde. Wir hatten über die japanische Kunstform Kinsugi oder Kinstsukuroi gesprochen und darüber, wie Dinge mit Lack und Gold repariert werden, und das war das perfekte Bild für das, worüber wir schrieben. Unsere Narben sind eine visuelle Darstellung unserer Kämpfe und unsere Verlustgeschichten sind Geschichten des Überlebens. Als wir zu Beginn des Jahres 2020 in Woodstock waren und mit Simone und David das Album fertigstellten, konnten wir uns nicht vorstellen, wie sich das Jahr entwickeln würde. Gold fühlt sich jetzt noch verbundener und ergreifender an, nach einem Jahr voller Verluste, in dem alle nur noch versuchen zu überleben.

What is the IOSS (Import One-Stop Shop)?

The Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) is an electronic portal that businesses can use to comply with their VAT obligations on distance sales of imported goods. Since 1st July 2021, all goods imported into the EU with a value of up to €150 are subject to VAT. No additional VAT fees should be paid for the delivery of parcels in Europe under €150. For orders over €150, your order will be shipped DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid).
