Das Album webt einen magischen, meditativen Weg in fünf Sätzen und kombiniert Elektronik, Saxophon, Stimmen und Rudolphs breite Percussion-Palette von Handtrommeln bis hin zu Daumenklavieren und Gongs. „Ich habe von Yusef so viel über Intervalle gelernt“, erklärt Rudolph. „Größen wie Yusef, Ornette Coleman und Coltrane verzichteten auf die Verwendung traditioneller harmonischer Formen und führten Systeme ein, die mit Intervallen arbeiten.“ Bei diesem Album gab es also einen intellektuellen Prozess, der aber größtenteils einfach intuitiv war. Was ich an der Intuition liebe, ist, dass sie ihre eigenen Spuren verwischt. Beim „5. Satz“ dieses Albums arbeitete ich um eine große Septim herum, aber 90 % des Geschehens geschah instinktiv.
