Juni über Memphis Industries erscheinen wird. „Madness“ ist POLIÇAs siebte Veröffentlichung seit der bahnbrechenden Debüt-LP „Give You The Ghost“ aus dem Jahr 2012. Madness wurde hauptsächlich von 2020 bis 2021 in Ryan Olsons Studio in Minneapolis aufgenommen und von Channy Leaneagh in ihrem Zimmer geschrieben und aufgenommen. Madness ist eine experimentelle Erweiterung der vierköpfigen Familienband bestehend aus Chris Bierden (Bass), Drew Christopherson und Ben Ivascu (Schlagzeug). Dazu gehört das anthropomorphe Produktionstool „AllOvers(c)“, das von Olson und seinem Produzentenkollegen und Soundkünstler Seth Rosetter entworfen wurde. Diese neueste Veröffentlichung wird innerhalb der kollaborativen Enklave fortgesetzt, in der POLIÇA ansässig ist, und beinhaltet eine Koproduktion von Dustin Zahn („Alive“ & „Away“), Alex Ridha und Alex Nutter („Violence“). Die erste Single des Albums ist der hymnische Puls von „Alive“, den Channy Leaneagh wie folgt beschreibt: „Schlechte Dinge passieren, das Feuer erlischt; Selbst mit den besten brennbaren Stoffen bleibt es dunkel, bis nichts mehr zum Feuer wird. Channy fasst die Texte und das verblüffende Artwork für „Madness“ wie folgt zusammen: „Ich bin für euch alle da und ich bin hier nie wirklich ich selbst.“ Ich bin sie für euch alle und ich bin nie wirklich sie.“

The Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) is an electronic portal that businesses can use to comply with their VAT obligations on distance sales of imported goods. Since 1st July 2021, all goods imported into the EU with a value of up to €150 are subject to VAT. No additional VAT fees should be paid for the delivery of parcels in Europe under €150.
