„SAAM“ greift das Smithsonian American Art Museum auf, auf einem Album, das eine Ausstellung von Sanchez‘ Leben in musikalischer Form darstellt: „Es besteht aus allen Elementen der Gesellschaft beider Länder [Spanien und Amerika], die mein Leben beeinflussen und mich zu dem machen, was ich bin.“ Ich bin." Innere und äußere Angelegenheiten werden in der musikalischen Darstellung komplexer Gefühle verwirklicht. Die Stücke nahmen im Lockdown Gestalt an, als Sanchez alle zwei Wochen Kompositionsaufgaben mit einem Brieffreund austauschte. „Diese Kompositionen drücken alle Phasen aus, die ich damals durchlebte. Ich habe intensiv darüber nachgedacht, was wichtig ist und wie wir dem Leben einen Sinn geben könnten.“
