Das Konzept von Mirrors ist einfach: Fünf einzigartige musikalische Geister unter einem Dach zu vereinen, die jeweils gemeinsam einen Song schreiben. So entstehen zehn Songs, die für das jeweilige Songwriterpaar persönlich sind, aber durch die gemeinsame Produktion und Aufnahme alle vereint sind Verfahren. Die Künstler – einer mit Wohnsitz in Spanien (Michael League), zwei in den USA (Becca Stevens und Louis Cato) und zwei in Portugal (Gisela Joao und Justin Stanton) – wurden etwas außerhalb von Portalegre in der Region Alto Alentejo in Portugal aufgenommen Ende August zusammen, inmitten der nahezu unüberwindlichen Reisebeschränkungen und konventionellen Möglichkeiten der Zusammenarbeit, die COVID-19 den Menschen auf der ganzen Welt auferlegt hat. Ein kollektiver Geist der Dringlichkeit und Sehnsucht nach dem kreativen Prozess führte meiner Meinung nach zur Geburt einer wirklich besonderen Reihe dynamischer, persönlicher und kraftvoller Musik, die die einzigartigen Stimmen jedes Künstlers einfängt und sie gleichzeitig durch neue und lebendige Prismen wirft, die zusammen geschmiedet wurden ihre kompositorischen Gegenstücke.

The Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) is an electronic portal that businesses can use to comply with their VAT obligations on distance sales of imported goods. Since 1st July 2021, all goods imported into the EU with a value of up to €150 are subject to VAT. No additional VAT fees should be paid for the delivery of parcels in Europe under €150.
