Am Ende einer vergessenen Seitengasse, auf dem seltsamen und jenseitigen Marktplatz der Glaubensrichtungen, der als Basar der Götter bekannt ist, stehen die Ruinen einer vergessenen Kapelle. Einst wurde der Carnifex-Kult in der ganzen Stadt der tausend Tore gefeiert. Doch eine Gruppe heiliger Krieger erhob sich gegen den Kult der Henker und Folterer, warf ihre Zeichen nieder und zerstreute ihre Anhänger in alle Winde. Das Schicksal der kthonischen Göttin und – was noch wichtiger ist – ihrer sagenumwobenen Juwelen bleibt ein Rätsel … bis zu dieser Nacht.
Inmitten der ausgedehnten Dekadenz von Punjar bietet „Jewels of the Carnifex“ Abenteurern auf niedrigem Niveau die Möglichkeit, den Geheimnissen unter den verschmutzten Straßen der Stadt auf den Grund zu gehen, vergessene Krypten voller seltsamer Artefakte zu erkunden und – wer schnell und mutig ist – die verlorenen Juwelen von zu beanspruchen der Carnifex!
