BZN (kurz für Band Zonder Naam, was Band Without A Name bedeutet) kommt aus Volendam (Niederlande). Von 1977 bis 1998 hatten sie mit ihrem MOR „palingsound“, angeführt von den Leadsängern Jan Keiser und Annie Schilder, nicht weniger als eine ununterbrochene Reihe von 32 Top-10-Alben. Letztere wurde 1984 durch Carola Smit ersetzt. Diese Veröffentlichung von „Golden Years“ konzentriert sich auf die Jahre kurz vor ihrem großen Durchbruch, als die Band nur mit Männern besetzt war. In dieser Zeit, von 1968 bis 1976, waren sie eine progressive Band und veröffentlichten ein Album und 16 Singles. BZN Golden Years ist als limitierte Auflage auf goldenem Vinyl erhältlich.
