dbh is Daniel Bridgwood-Hill, a composer, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist based in Todmorden, West Yorkshire. He is perhaps best known for playing all manner of instruments with the bands of Kiran Leonard, Irma Vep and Jim Ghedi. As dbh, he plays live and records albums of solo instrumental music, primarily on acoustic and electric guitar. Released in 2017, ‘Mass’ is dbh’s third album of solo instrumentals. It follows ‘Mood’ (Thread Recordings, 2015) and ‘Time Flies’ (Crowfoot Records, 2013). It was recorded and mixed by Karl Sveinsson at Queens Ark Audio, Manchester, and mastered by Peter Fletcher at Black Bay Studio, Outer Hebrides.
