It’s been many years since the pair joined forces for the earlier Armstrong & Miller, and in that time, they’ve come up with a whole host of new characters to keep us amused. Thus, we get to meet the husband who can’t work out that his wife his having an affair with his best friend, and instead chooses to believe some of the wild explanations he’s offered. There’s the dentist and his inappropriate comments, usually uttered while his patient’s mouth is wide open. Or what about the brilliantly inspired SatNav system that comes up with an abundance of reasons for not taking certain routes? These, and many more, jam-pack all of the episodes of the new Armstrong & Miller Show. The series packs in many laughs, and it’s a mixture of the quality of writing and skill of the two lead performers that really make it soar. The Armstrong & Miller Show may not go to the lengths of Little Britain to mine its laughs, but in many ways, it’s the better show.
