In Bärenpark, players compete to create the best zoo dedicated to housing different subspecies of bears. This tile-drafting and tile-laying game, designed by Phil Walker-Harding and published by Lookout Spiele, offers a satisfying and engaging gameplay experience for up to four players.

Each player starts with a 4x4 grid, representing the entrance to their bear park. The grid includes various icons, such as construction workers and barricaded pits, as well as different levels of equipment, like wheelbarrows, cement mixers, and diggers. On your turn, you place a polyomino tile into your park, adjacent to a previously placed tile, and take note of any icons you cover up. For every icon covered, you get to take a bear enclosure tile of corresponding victory points value.

However, you cannot place tiles in a way that covers up a pit. Instead, once the other 15 squares have been filled, this pit gains a golden bear statue worth victory points. The first player to successfully fill up four sections of their park triggers the end of the game, and the player with the most points wins.
