Slipstream are Mark Refoy, Jonny Mattock, Jason Holt and Tim Harries. Refoy and Mattock were in the last incarnation of Spacemen 3 for the final album Recurring and were subsequently in the first Spiritualized line up for the first two albums Lazer Guided Melodies and Pure Phase. Holt once played in a Stooges cover band and now plays respectively guitar and bass in Spectrum and The Cult of Dom Keller. Harries is a genius multi talented bass guitarist/musician who has played with Brian Eno, Katie Melua and many others. Slipstream were formed in 1994 after Refoy left Spiritualized and Mattock joined shortly after. They made 3 albums and several singles for the Che label and then two albums and two singles for the Enraptured label. In 2012 they released the album Stereo Brain Mono Heart on the Mind Expansion label. They are back now with a new collection of songs for their latest album called Out Of The Blue to be released later in the year. It's preceded by a AA side 7 single on Enraptured with one side called Maybe The Day Will Come (Refoy) and Like No Other (Mattock).
