Arkham Horror: The Card Game is a cooperative card game for 1-4 players set in the Lovecraftian universe of the Cthulhu Mythos. In this game, players will each assume the role of a unique investigator, each with their own set of skills, strengths, and weaknesses represented by a deck of cards. The goal of the game is to complete a series of adventures, which are individual scenarios that can be played together as a campaign. As players progress through the campaign and purchase new expansions, they will have the chance to customize their investigator decks to suit their personal preferences and better equip themselves to face the challenges of the game.

One such expansion is The Blob that Ate Everything, which can be played as a standalone campaign or as a side quest within another campaign. In this scenario, the town of Blackwater has been placed under lockdown following a meteor impact, but little does the public know that the meteor was not of natural origins. It contained a rapidly growing entity that is consuming everything in its path. Your investigators have been allowed access to the quarantined zone, and if they hope to leave again, they must find a way to deal with the Blob.

This expansion requires a copy of Arkham Horror: The Card Game to play and is suitable for players 14 and older. The game can take anywhere from 30-90 minutes to play, depending on the format.
