In a package mainly drawn from appearances on British, French, German and Swedish television and radio, the treasure trove includes performances that only the most fervent devotees would have known existed. And not many of those hard-core fans would have been aware of their availability for current-day delectation. A wealth of music affords a comprehensive celebration of the Yardbirds' journey - from their blueswailin' origins, to their exciting 'rave-up' crescendos, and through to some heavy-duty psychedelia.
