Doch es dauert nicht lange, bis sie den teuflischen Besitzern des Jahrmarkts und den kannibalischen Ghulen ausgeliefert sind, die in den Höhlen darunter lauern.
Gefilmt im Vergnügungspark Willow Grove in Pennsylvania, ist „Carnival of Blood“ von Malatesta eine umwerfende Phantasmagorie voller Schausteller-Verrücktheit, die Elemente von „Night of the Living Dead“ und „Carnival of Souls“ vermischt und eine (ungesunde) Dosis Herschell Gordon Lewis hinzufügt.
